‘Rom and Roll’
The Sony CD-ROM Discman was a Sony Discman variant designed to be used with a laptop computer. As a standalone unit the CD-ROM Discman performed the same functions as a standard Discman but, when connected to a laptop computer via a cable and included PCMCIA card, allowed an otherwise CD-ROMless laptop to access both audio and data CDs.
