‘The List Keeps Growing’
Amiga rewrote almost the entirety of Kickstart/Workbench between version 1.X and version 2.0. This lead to a number of compatibility issues with some software - predominantly games - that directly interfaced with private elements of the OS that no-longer existed after the 2.0 upgrade. The Release 2 compatibility sticker was a way of advertising to the user that there shouldn’t be any compatibility issues with a particular software product.
