‘Breaking into the Next Generation!’
A side scrolling platform game, Rayman was originally developed for the Super NES CD-ROM, and, after that platform’s cancellation, was released for the Atari Jaguar and as a launch title for the Sony Playstation. Well received by the gaming press, Rayman sold 900,000 copies by the end of 1997.
