‘We’re Handspring.’
Handspring, Inc was the creation of a number of disillusioned former Palm, Inc hardware developers after the purchase of Palm by 3Com. Founded in June 1998, Handspring released a number of products - including the Visor - before it merged with Palm’s hardware division where it, in effect, came ‘home’.
