The past is another country - especially when it comes to this advert for the PlayStation2 release of The Sims.
Originally shipping in 2000 for the PC and Mac, the PlayStation2 port of The Sims would eventually ship in mid-January 2003 after going gold late in December 2002. The Sims for PlayStation2 reviewed well with a Metacritic average score of 83 - approximately 10 percentage points lower than the then three year old PC release.
