‘As Simple as ABC’

StrataVision 3D 1.0 was 3D computer graphics program for Apple computers. StrataVision had the ability to create 3D primitives, to apply texture mapping to objects, and to perform keyframe based animations. StrataVision was capable of producing both static and animated ray-traced output though the output files were often noted to be rather large. By the spring of 1990 StrataVision 3D had a list price of around 495USD.

April 1990’s MacWorld included a positive review of Stratavision 3D 1.0.2 - though they did note that the application placed heavy demands on the host computer.
