‘I always eat the center first.’
Snowball.com was an online web portal targeting Gen-i, a group it identified as 13 - 30 year olds at the turn of the millennium. As of the autumn of 1999, the Snowball network comprised of four sub networks - ChickClick, IGN.com, PowerStudents.com and InsideGuide.com.
Snowball.com held an IPO in 2000 where it initially floated at around 11USD per share however, by the May of 2001 Snowball’s share price had collapsed to around 37 cents a share. In 2002 Snowball was renamed to IGN Entertainment after its most popular sub-brand.
