ImageVideo was a proprietary NEC computer bus first introduced in 1991 and used across numerous NEC computers alongside the ISA bus. Designed as a replacement for the then aging ISA, the ImageVideo bus failed to make a wider impact and the computer industry eventually adopted the PCI bus as it’s ISA replacement.
