The Toshiba T4400SX was a desktop replacement laptop computer first release 1992. The T4400SX was build around a base configuration of a 25Mhz 486SX CPU, 2MB of RAM, and a an 80MB hard drive with options to replace the CPU with a 25MHZ 496DX CPU and up to 10MB of RAM. The T4400SX could also be docked with the Toshiba Desk Station IV to allow for additional hardware and monitor support. Unlike many similar desktop replacement devices, the T4400SX only shipped with a copy of DOS 5 and not a copy of Windows 3.1. The T4400SX was available for around 4400 USD.
