About

The ‘Axis Network CD-ROM Server’ family of products allowed network access to one more CD rooms drives over a standard network connection. This offered businesses and other organisations the option of limiting drive access on a users computer whilst centralising the storage of potentially costly and fragile reference and installation media. The number of simultaneous users could also be limited to comply with any licensing terms.
