‘That new OS/2 Warp is hot’

Produced as part of IBM’s 1994 push for OS/2 Warp 3.0, this is one of several variants of the ‘Warp Czech Nun’ commercial that aimed to make OS/2 a hip, young product. Of note, the digs about multi-tasking and easy access to the internet relate to Windows 3.1’s failings in both of those areas. Windows 95, which shipped a year after this advert, would later negate these criticisms.

A 2015 Wired article covers this in a little more depth.

OS/2 Warp 3.0 can be downloaded from WinWorldPC.
