‘Windows Compatible’

Connectix Virtual PC 3 was a full system emulator that allowed intel x86 targeted operating systems such as Windows 95 to run atop of System 7.5.5 and later. This enabled Macintosh users to access a wider software library of applications and games that might not otherwise have been available to a Mac user without requiring the use of a second PC. Connectix Virtual PC 3 supported Windows 98, 95, NT, 3.11, MSDOS, IBM OS/2, and various Linux distributions. Connectix Virtual PC was later sold to Microsoft in 2003.
An archive of the Connectix Virtual PC 3 product page can be found at the Internet Archive.
